Westside Safety Bretz Commits to Huskers

The Nebraska football team’s defense has added a 2021 recruit from Omaha.  Safety Koby Bretz of Omaha Westside announced his commitment to the Huskers yesterday on Twitter. 

According to reports, Bretz is expected to begin his NU career at safety, but could move to outside linebacker as he gains weight.  247Sports lists  Bretz as a three-star prospect and ranks him as the number 6 prospect in the state. 

Last season, he led Westside with four interceptions, helping the Warriors make the Class A championship game.
