Westside LB Jones, State’s Top Prospect, Commits to NU

The Nebraska football team’s dismantling of Colorado apparently helped the Huskers land a four-star in-state linebacker prospect.
Omaha Westside’s Christian Jones committed to NU yesterday, two days after watching the Big Red’s big win at Memorial Stadium. The 6-foot-3, 215-pound Jones is the top prospect in the state on three of the four major recruiting sites.
He’s the 19th player and the sixth from Nebraska to join the Huskers’ 2025 recruiting class.
According to reports, Jones chose Nebraska over Oklahoma, USC and Auburn.
