Weekend Tourneys on Tap For Three Local Legion Teams

In American Legion baseball this weekend, the Columbus Seniors and Juniors as well as Lakeview Juniors are all competing in tournaments.
The Cornerstone Insurance Group Columbus Seniors are among 18 senior clubs taking part in the Kansas Grand Slam tourney in Salina. Meantime, the Columbus United Federal Credit Union Junior Blues play in a tournament at Lincoln that begins today.
The Owens Wealth Advisors Lakeview Junior Reds open play in the B5 Area Tournament at Albion. The Junior Reds are the number-3 seed and will meet number-6 seed St. Paul today at 5 p.m., while top-seeded Albion has a first-round bye.
