Wednesday's GRC Hoops Tourney Scores, Semifinals Set

The quarterfinals of the Goldenrod Conference basketball tournament were played last night.

In boys action, St. Francis bombed Burwell 69-29, Fullerton beat St. Edward 64-43, Central Valley got by Nebraska Christian 55-48 and Riverside romped over Heartland Lutheran 71-33. In the girls tourney, St. Francis topped Fullerton 41-26, Central Valley defeated Riverside 48-35, Burwell downed Palmer 50-19 and Nebraska Christian beat Heartland Lutheran 54-24.

Play-by-play of tonight’s girls semifinals will be broadcast on 93.5 The Hawk. St. Francis meets host Central Valley at 6 p.m., followed by Nebraska Christian vs. Burwell around 7:30.
