Walters Says Maryland’s Defense is Very Talented

Nebraska offensive coordinator Troy Walters conceded yesterday that the Maryland defense his unit goes up against on Saturday has given up a lot of points. 

But, Walters also said looking at the Terrapins’ defense “man for man, they are very talented.  They have good size, good length.”  He also noted the Terrapins “have had a week off to rest and to get ready for us so we are going to get their best shot.”  

Saturday’s kickoff in College Park is set for 2:30 p.m.  The pre-game starts at 9:30 a.m. on News Talk 900 KJSK and will be joined at 2 on KLIR 101.
