Wait Wins Big East Honor, CU Volleyball Up to No. 14

Creighton volleyball’s Kendra Wait was named the Big East’s offensive player of the week on Monday.
The honor came a week after Wait earned the league’s defensive player of the week. Wait averaged almost 10 assists per set last week, helping the Bluejays to a pair of wins in three matches.
CU’s loss to No. 4 Nebraska did not hurt the Jays in the rankings, as Creighton climbed two spots to a season-best 14th in this week’s AVCA Top 25.
