Volleyball: Scotus Goes 3-0 in Plainview, CHS 1-2 in Norfolk

The Scotus volleyball team went 3-0 on Saturday at the Plainview Quad.
The Shamrocks defeated Plainview 2-0, got by Stuart 2-1 and beat Boyd County in two sets. Joanna Rusher had a team-leading 21 kills and eight blocks on the day, while Meah Sackett led Scotus with six service aces and 50 set assists.
Scotus is 3-1 on the season.
Meanwhile, Columbus went 1-2 at the Norfolk Invitational. The Discoverers topped South Sioux City 2-0, but fell to Kearney 2-0 and were downed by Bennington 2-1.
CHS is now 2-2 on the year.
