Volleyball Results From CHS Invite and Columbus Classic

In prep volleyball on Saturday, Columbus High went 0-3 at its own invitational. The Discoverers lost to Lincoln High and Grand Island 2-0 and fell to Omaha Burke 2-1. CHS is now 10-14.
The Columbus Classic was hosted by Lakeview and the Vikings went 3-1. The Lady Vikes posted 2-0 victories over Beatrice, Hastings and Norfolk Catholic before dropping a 2-0 decision to Kearney Catholic in the championship match. Lakeview is now 18-2.
Scotus went 2-1 in the tourney. The Shamrocks downed Centennial 2-0, fell to Kearney Catholic 2-0, then defeated Beatrice in two sets. The ‘Rocks are now 16-6.
