Volleyball: NU Skidding, CU Soaring, CCC Sliding

In college volleyball, Nebraska is 6-3 and on a three-match losing skid after getting swept by Louisville Saturday in Lincoln. 

The Huskers open Big Ten play on Wednesday with a trip to Northwestern.  First serve is set for 8 p.m. on KJSK.  Meanwhile, Creighton won its unprecedented fourth straight tournament with three sweeps at the Shocker Volleyball Classic.  The Bluejays have won 13 straight sets and are 12-1.  CU opens Big East play Friday at Butler. 

And the CCC volleyball team went 0-4 at a tourney in Kansas City, Kansas over the weekend.  The Raiders have lost six in a row to slip to 7-8.  Central visits Cloud County C.C. tonight.
