Volleyball: NU, CU Signings for ’25, Huskers Play Tonight

Nebraska’s volleyball squad signed five of the top prospects in the nation Wednesday. 

They are libero Keri Leimbach, who stars at Lincoln Lutheran, setter Campbell Flynn of Michigan, opposite hitter Ryan Hunter of North Carolina, middle blocker Manaia Ogbechie of California and outside hitter Tereya Sigler of Arizona. 

The No. 2 Huskers go for their 22nd straight win against No. 16 Minnesota tonight.  First serve at Pinnacle Bank Arena is set for 8 p.m.  The pregame starts at 7 on News Talk 900 KJSK.

On signing day Wednesday, Creighton volleyball signed a pair of prep standouts.   Right-side hitter Ashlyn Paymal from Omaha Westside is listed as the state’s No. 5 prospect by Prep Dig.  Abbey Hayes is an outside hitter who Prep Dig ranks as the No. 2 senior prospect in Iowa and the nation’s No. 82 recruit.
