Volleyball: Lakeview, Scotus District Finals Saturday on the Air

In prep volleyball Saturday, Lakeview, Scotus and several area teams will try to win district championships and advance to next week’s state tournament. 

The play-by-play of both district finals involving the Vikings and Shamrocks will be aired on KLIR 101.  Lakeview hosts Milford in the C1-6 district final at 11 a.m.  Scotus entertains Ogallala at 2 p.m. in the C1-4 final.  Doug Scott will call both matches on KLIR, with audio also streamed live at mycentralnebraska.com. 

In another C1 district championship, Clarkson/Leigh welcomes Gothenburg to Leigh at 2 p.m.  In C2, Humphrey-Lindsay hosts Hastings St. Cecilia at 3 p.m. 

D1 district final matchups have Howells-Dodge meeting Brady in Aurora at 1 p.m. and Nebraska Christian welcoming Diller-Odell to Central City for a 3 p.m. first serve.  And in D2, it’s a 5 p.m. start as Central Valley hosts Sandhills/Thedford.
