Volleyball: Lakeview Downs Scotus, Advances to Subdistrict Final

Lakeview will play for a volleyball subdistrict title tonight after the Vikings defeated rival Scotus in last night’s semifinals. 

The Shamrocks swept Central City in the C1-7 subdistrict opener at Lakeview.  Scotus won 25-13, 25-19, 25-14. 

In the second match, David City’s season ended in a 3-0 loss to Aurora. 

Lakeview then downed Scotus 3-1.  The Vikings won 25-17, 25-22, 23-25, 25-17.  The Shamrocks ended the season with a 15-16 record. 

The Vikings are 21-9 and will host the Huskies tonight at 7 p.m.  The match will be broadcast on 93.5 The Hawk.
