Volleyball is on the air tonight. Howells-Dodge welcomes Wakefield to Dodge.
The Jaguars have won nine straight matches and are 9-1 on the season. Wakefield is in Class C-2, two levels above Howells-Dodge, and the Trojans are 8-6. You can hear play-by-play of the match on 93.5 The Hawk. First serve is at 6:30 p.m.
That’s also the same time the pregame show starts on KJSK for Nebraska’s home match against Stanford. First serve is set for 7 p.m.
In the weekly AVCA poll, the 7-0 Huskers stayed at No. 2, trailing only 6-0 Texas. Stanford, which is 4-2, climbed two spots to No. 9.
Meanwhile, Creighton stayed at No. 17. The 7-2 Bluejays will play in a tournament at Rice this weekend. CU’s Kendra Wait was named BIg East defensive player of the week on Monday.
