Volleyball: Columbus Went 1-2, Lakeview 2-1 on Saturday

Columbus High’s volleyball team went 1-2 Saturday at the Hastings Invite.

The Discoverers downed Lexington 2-0, but lost to both Elkhorn and the host Tigers in two sets.  CHS, which is now 11-8, entertains Hastings tomorrow night. 

Meanwhile, Lakeview’s volleyball club went 2-1 at Saturday’s Aurora Invite.  The Vikings posted 2-0 wins over Lincoln Christian and Sidney, but fell to Bennington 2-1. 

Lakeview is 11-4 and will host Scotus, which is 11-6, tomorrow night.  First serve is set for 7 p.m. and you can hear the action on KLIR 101.
