Volleyball: CHS Goes 3-1, Scotus 3-0 on Weekend

In prep volleyball, Columbus High went 3-1 in Saturday’s Norfolk Invitational.
The Discoverers posted 2-1 victories over Bennington and Hastings, and won 2-0 vs. Yankton, South Dakota, but fell 2-1 to Lincoln High. Columbus is 3-2 on the season and will host Grand Island and Lincoln Pius X in a triangular on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Scotus won all three matches the Shamrocks played in Saturday’s round-robin at Plainview. Scotus recorded a trio of 2-0 wins over Stuart, Plainview and Boyd County. Now 3-1 on the year, the Shamrocks will host Omaha Concordia on Tuesday.
