Vikings Win Pair, CHS Edged at G.I.

Lakeview’s volleyball club kept winning last night.  The Vikings took a pair of matches at a triangular in Central City. 

Lakeview defeated the host team, Nebraska Christian, 25-18, 25-23 and beat Boone Central/Newman Grove 25-21, 25-16.  In the final match, the Eagles downed the Cardinals 22-25, 25-19, 25-12.

Lakeview is now 12-1, while Nebraska Christian is 10-3 and Boone Central is 4-10.

Meantime, Columbus High volleyball fell in five sets at Grand Island.  The Islanders downed the Discoverers 25-19, 25-21, 20-25, 19-25, 15-12.

CHS is now 9-9 and will host Seward tomorrow at 7 p.m.  You can hear that match on KLIR 101.
