Vikings Hoops Teams Get Swept at Seward

Both of Lakeview’s basketball teams suffered losses at Seward last night.
The Vikings boys were downed by the Bluejays 53-36. Braxton Borer and Blake Rathbone each scored 10 points for Lakeview, which fell to 5-14.
After losing to Seward 48-30 on Saturday, the Vikings girls were edged 45-42 last night. The Lady Vikes led 32-27 after three quarters, but were outscored by the Jays 18-10 in the final period. Josie Bentz, Taylor Helms and Haley Frenzen all had 10 points, but Lakeview slipped to 9-11.
Both Lakeview clubs will look to halt three-game losing skids when they host York on Saturday.
