Vikings Boys Basketball Wins Second Straight, Girls Fall to 0-2

Lakeview’s boys basketball club posted its second consecutive win to open the season on Saturday. 

The Vikings beat Arlington 58-54 in Lakeview’s home opener.  Clayton Thomson paced Lakeview with 21 points, while Grayson Vogt had 13 points and a team-high eight rebounds. 

In the girls game, the Vikings were downed by the Eagles 43-39.  Kenzie Greisen and Hadley Hornung each had 11 points, while Abby Bird added 10 for Lakeview, which is 0-2. 

Both Vikings teams will host Aurora Thursday.
