Vikes’ Volleyball Opens With Impressive “W” at Schuyler

Lakeview’s volleyball team rolled to an easy win in its season opener at Schuyler last night. 

In a match aired on KLIR 101, the Vikings beat the Warriors 25-4, 25-9, 25-13.  

A pair of Lakeview juniors helped lead the way to the win.  Lilly Rowe had nine kills and Maddi Vogt served up five aces.

With the loss, Schuyler fell to 0-3.

Both teams will host matches tomorrow, when the Vikings face Seward and the Warriors take on Cornerstone Christian.
