Verge Records a Double-Double in Huskers’ Win

Alonzo Verge Jr. posted a double-double and Derrick Walker scored a career-high 16 points to help Nebraska tame Tennessee State 79-73 last night.
Bryce McGowens scored 18 points, C.J. Wilcher matched his career-best with 15 points, and Verge had 18 points and a career-high 10 assists. NU has won three straight to improve to 4-2.
The Huskers welcome South Dakota to Pinnacle Bank Arena on Saturday for a 1 p.m. game.
