Lakeview speedster Adam Van Cleave helped the Bank of the Valley Lakeview Seniors to a 14-3 home win in five innings over Wayne last night.  The team’s leadoff hitter, Van Cleave went 3-for-3 with a triple, a stolen base and scored four runs. 

Cooper Tessendorf, hitting second in Lakeview’s batting order, was 2-for-2 with a double, three RBI and a run.  He also started the game on the mound and tossed two perfect innings as four Bank of the Valley pitchers combined on a one-hitter.  The Lakeview Seniors are now 8-0. 

Meanwhile, the Owens Wealth Advisors Lakeview Junior Reds were downed by Wayne 12-3 in five frames.  The Junior Reds slipped to 5-4.  Lakeview’s teams will visit Crofton this evening. 

Tonight at Pawnee Park Legion Field, the One United Federal Credit Union Columbus Junior Blues will face Hastings at 6 p.m.
