GREELEY- USDA has announced that $1.5 million will be utilized for a water project in Greeley.

The water project will install a new well, update the water treatment plant, and replace inoperable valves, fire hydrants, and meters. Officials say the improvements will help to ensure a safe water source and promote water conservation practices.

The announcement is part of $635 million of investments in 122 projects to improve water systems and wastewater handling services in rural communities in 42 states.
