US 30 Speedway will open its gates on Thursday, June 4th. The first Thursday Night Thunder races were announced via a Facebook post.

In the post, US 30 Speedway notes the Governor’s new directed health measures that were announced last week will allow the Columbus area race track to sell the grandstand to 25 percent capacity.

The post says the first 750 people will be allowed to sit in the grandstand.  Fans over the 750 mark will be able to purchase pit passes.

East Central Health District recommends that fans wear masks, but it’s not required.  Race fans are also encouraged to keep their group six feet away from others.
