Two Pitchers From Nebraska Make Softball America’s Top 100
Two pitchers with Nebraska ties are among players on Softball America’s preseason top 100 list.
NU’s Jordy Bahl is ninth on the list announced Monday, while Omaha’s Maddia Groff is No. 43.
Bahl, who transferred to Nebraska in 2023 after helping Oklahoma to two national championships, missed last season with a torn ACL suffered in the Huskers’ season opener.
Groff transferred to UNO from Southern Illinois after being one of the nation’s top freshmen last year. She went 30-5 with a 1.11 ERA and three saves.
Both players graduated from high school in the Omaha area, as Bahl went to Papillion-La Vista and Groff attended Marian.
