GRAND ISLAND- Two men have been arrested in connection to recent burglaries and thefts in Grand island.

On Tuesday, a search warrant was executed after information was obtained regarding the burglaries. During the search warrant, two individuals were contacted; Sean Sartin and Christopher Spangler. A large quantity of stolen items were recovered from the residence that were related to six reported thefts and six reported burglaries that occurred in the past three months. During a Miranda interview, Spangler admitted to all six thefts and all six burglaries. Sartin was found to be in possession of suspected Methamphetamine along with drug paraphernalia. Spangler was arrested for Burglary, and Theft by Unlawful Taking. Sartin was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance & Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

The case is still ongoing.
