Turnaround Season For Scotus Boys Ends in District Final

A turnaround season for the Scotus Central Catholic boys basketball team came to an end last night.  The Shamrocks fell at Pierce 45-26 in the C1-4 district final. 

The Bluejays led 26-10 at the half and had the game in hand with a 37-14 lead after three quarters.  A year after going 4-19, Scotus was 17-8 this season and came up just short in its bid to make the state tournament for the first time since 2017. 

In other boys district finals Tuesday, Fullerton was downed at Parkview Christian 76-53 and St. Paul was hammered at Wahoo 79-15.
