Tuesday’s Area Girls Hoops Subdistrict Scores

In area girls basketball subdistrict semifinals last night, North Bend Central rolled over Arlington 61-13.  The Tigers will meet West Point-Beemer in tomorrow’s C1-6 final. 

Central City bowed to GICC 68-19.  St. Paul will visit GICC for the C1-9 final, after the Wildcats beat Doniphan-Trumbull 51-21.  Clarkson/Leigh was edged 50-48 by Wisner-Pilger.  Fullerton was downed by Norfolk Catholic 52-38.  The D1-5 final will pit Cross County against Nebraska Chrisitan.  The Cougars defeated Aquinas 29-18, while the Eagles beat East Butler 36-15.  Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family bested Howells-Dodge 61-41. The Bulldogs will face Elgin Public/Pope John in the D1-6 final. 

In D2-3, Osceola downed Giltner 48-26, while High Plains Community suffered a 40-31 loss to Hampton.  And in D2-4, rivals Humphrey St. Francis and Riverside will square off in tomorrow’s final.  The Flyers blasted Randolph 62-24, while Riverside got by Winside 64-56.
