Top Tight End Prospect Fidone Commits to Huskers

One of the top tight ends in the nation has announced his commitment to Nebraska.  

Thomas Fidone of Council Bluffs Lewis Central made the announcement yesterday evening on KETV. 

247Sports ranks Fidone as the number 37 prospect in the country.  His pledge pushed the Huskers recruiting ranking up 12 spots to number 27 in the 247Sports Composite Team rankings. 

The 6-foot-5 Fidone reportedly chose NU over his home-state Hawkeyes and several other schools, including LSU, Notre Dame, Michigan and Penn State. 

He’s the 16th player to commit to Nebraska for 2021.
