Thursday’s Cross Country Highlights for CHS, Lakeview

Thursday’s prep cross country results: the Columbus girls and boys both placed fifth out of eight teams in the Fremont Invite.

Discoverers girls medalists were Melissa Gomez-Vazquez who was fifth and Hailey Kropatsch who took 14th.  Noah Edwards was the lone CHS boy to medal, placing 11th. 

Lakeview competed in the Platte River Rumble at Mahoney State Park.  For the Vikings, the girls were paced by Elle Badstieber who finished 25th, while the boys were led by Eli Escen who came in 35th.
