Three State Volleyball Semifinals On The Air Today

The semifinals are on tap today in all classes at the state volleyball tournament.  Three matches will be aired by Alpha Media from Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln.

In D2, Humphrey St. Francis will face top-seeded Lawrence-Nelson at 9 a.m. on KLIR 101.  The Flyers swept Garden County in yesterday afternoon’s opening round, winning 25-14, 25-10, 25-10.

BDS takes on Wynot in the other D2 semifinal at 11 a.m. on 93.5 The Hawk.  The Eagles rallied from a 2-0 deficit to get by Betrand 3-2 last night.

Also on the Hawk, C1 number-1 seed St. Paul takes its perfect match and set record against Broken Bow at 1 p.m.  The Wildcats improved to 34-0 with a sweep of Battle Creek yesterday.
