Three Former Huskers Among Nine Signed by Supernovas

Three former Nebraska volleyball players signed with the Omaha Supernovas on Sunday.

Briana Holman, Kayla Coffey and Kaitlyn Hord were among nine free agents who signed with Omaha on the first day of the Pro Volleyball Federation’s free agency period.

The Supernovas also re-signed Brooke Nuneviller, Natalia Valentin-Anderson and Sophie Davis, who were all part of Omaha’s championship team last season.  Also signed was Reagan Cooper, who led the Columbus Fury in kills last year, and whose father, Reggie, was a star safety at Nebraska from 1988-1990 who was inducted into the school’s hall of fame in 2013.
