Three CU Women Basketball Players Recognized

Three Creighton sophomores were recognized yesterday when the Big East women’s basketball honors were announced.

Forward Emma Ronsiek was named to the All-Big East First Team.  She leads the Bluejays with 15 points and 5.2 rebounds per game.  Guard Lauren Jensen was selected to the league’s second team and also shared the award for the conference’s Most Improved Player.  CU’s Morgan Maly earned the league’s Sixth-Woman Award.

The third-seeded Jays play their first Big East Tournament game in tomorrow night’s quarterfinals against either Seton Hall or Butler.
