Three Creighton baseball players will play tonight in the opening game of the Collegiate Summer Baseball Invitational. 

Bluejay seniors Ryan Mantle and Jonah Smith, and freshman Cam Frederick will play in the first contest of a six-game, three-day event in Texas.  Mantle is on the Unity team roster, while Smith and Frederick will play for the Liberty club. 

Tonight’s first pitch is set for 6 p.m. and the game will be televised live on ESPN2.  The 9 p.m. game between teams titled Freedom and Independence will also be broadcast on ESPN2, while the remaining four contests the next two nights are available on Pay-Per-View.
