Three Area Athletes Picked to Play in NCA All-Star Games

The Nebraska Coaches Association has released the rosters for its annual All-Star games this July and they include three area athletes. 

Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family guard Brittney Veik and North Bend Central forward Lauren Emanuel will play in the girls’ basketball game.  The 41st annual event is set for Monday, July 20th at 6 p.m. 

The boys’ basketball game will also be held the same night at Lincoln North Star, tipping off at 8 p.m.  Boys rosters have not been announced. 

Central City shortstop Gabby Moser has been selected to play in the 16th annual NCA All-Star Softball Game.  It’s scheduled for Wednesday, July 22nd at UNL’s Bowlin Field with first pitch at 5 p.m.
