Texas A&M, Arkansas Stay Alive in CWS on Tuesday

In today’s action at the College World Series, Texas A&M will face Oklahoma at 1 p.m., while Arkansas meets Ole Miss at 6.
On Tuesday, A&M beat Notre Dame 5-1 in an elimination game. Nathan Dettmer pitched three-hit ball over seven shutout innings as the Aggies improved to 2-1 in Omaha. They must beat the 2-0 Sooners twice to reach the best-of-three finals.
Arkansas routed Auburn 11-1 last night. The Razorbacks’ Peyton Stovall became the first player with five hits in a CWS game since 2009. Arkansas is 2-1 and needs to defeat the 2-0 Rebels tonight and tomorrow to make the final series, which begins Saturday.
