Ternus Wins Three Gold Medals, Barcel Two at Wayne Invite

The Lakeview and Scotus track and field teams competed at the Wayne Invite.
The Vikings girls and boys each placed third, while the Shamrocks boys were fifth and the girls were last out of seven teams.
Gold medal winners for Lakeview included Landon Ternus in the boys 100 and 200 meter dashes and shot put, Blake Barcel in the girls 200 meter dash and high jump, Turner Halvorsen in the boys 800 meter run, and Molly Frenzen in the girls 100 meter hurdles.
The Scotus boys 4×800 meter relay team finished first, as did Lakeview’s girls in the 4×100 meter relay.
