Tennis: NU Women Add Player, Men Add Assistant Coach

The Nebraska women’s tennis team has added Minnesota transfer Anfisa Danilchenko to its roster for next season. 

The native of Moscow, Russia spent last season with the Gophers.  She went 20-7 in singles and 17-8 in doubles. 

Also yesterday, Peter Kobelt was named as an assistant coach for the Husker men’s tennis team.  Kobelt served as the volunteer assistant coach at Kentucky the past two seasons. 

He starred as a player at Ohio State, leading the Buckeyes to the national indoor championship in 2014 when he earned All-America honors for the second straight year.
