Baylor Scheierman has announced he plans to transfer to the Creighton men’s basketball program.
The Aurora, Nebraska native earned Summit League Player of the Year honors last season with South Dakota State. For the season, the 6-foot-6 guard averaged 16.2 points, 7.8 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game. Scheierman spent three years with the Jackrabbits and was a two-time Summit League First Team honoree.
Ranked No. 4 in ESPN’s transfer rankings, he has two years of college eligibility remaining but has also applied for the 2022 NBA Draft. He has to withdraw by June 1st to maintain his college eligibility.
