Stoll Modest About Great Grab

Nebraska tight end Jack Stoll said last Saturday’s game against Illinois was the toughest physically so far this season. 

Stoll was asked yesterday about a sideline catch he made in the third quarter where he tipped a ball to himself for a highlight reel grab in the Huskers’ 42-38 win.

“Adrian (Martinez) obviously scrambled and he put the ball in the one place he could,” Stoll said modestly. “My number ended up being called to make a play.”   

NU hosts number five Ohio State this Saturday at 6:30 p.m. The pre-game starts at 1:30 on News Talk 900 KJSK and will be joined at 6 on KLIR 101.
