State Volleyball Tournament Opens Thursday

Humphrey St. Francis’ volleyball team is seeded fifth for this week’s state volleyball tournament in Lincoln. 

The Flyers are 22-4 and will meet D2 number-4 seed Garden County in Thursday’s opening round. The Eagles are 29-1 entering that 3:30 p.m. match at Lincoln Northeast. 

It will be aired on KLIR 101.  

Meantime, BDS is the #3 seed in D2 and its matches will be aired on KZ-100.  And St. Paul is the top seed in C1.  The Wildcats opening match Thursday cannot be broadcast, but if they play on Friday and Saturday, those games will be aired on 93.5 The Hawk.
