State Track Wraps Up for Classes A&D; B&C Opens Today

The state track meet wrapped up for teams in Classes A and D yesterday. 

In Class D, Osceola captured the boys team title and the St. Francis girls finished second.  Osceola was led by Isaiah Zelasney, who sprinted to three individual gold medals and anchored the Bulldogs’ gold-medal winning 1600-meter relay team.  Allison Weidner led the Flyers to the runner-up finish, by one point over Fullerton.  She won two individual gold medals and was part of a first-place relay team. 

In Class A, Columbus High picked up five medals.  Medal winners on the girls side included Josie Garrett, Joselyn Olson, Addison Johnson and Emma Brownlow.  Carsen Marking won the lone medal for the Discoverers boys.
