State Tennis Highlight For CHS Provided by Hazlett, Kapels

The Columbus High girls tennis team finished 14th at the state tournament.
The Discoverers tallied 10 points in the two-day event that concluded last Friday.
The number-2 doubles team of Becca Hazlett and Logan Kapels won its first three matches to reach the state semifinals. It was the first time CHS claimed a spot in the semifinals since 2012. Hazlett and Kapels fell in their final two matches, but they finished with a 34-5 season record.
