State Hoops Stays in Lincoln, Expands to Five-Day Format

The state basketball tournaments will remain in Lincoln this year.  But, both the girls and boys tourneys will be expanded from three days to five days. 

The NSAA board decided unanimously on Thursday that the girls event will be held March 2-6 with an identical schedule of game times for the boys tourney March 9-13. 

Most games will be played at Pinnacle Bank Arena with some held at Lincoln high schools.  The Devaney Center is not available this year since Nebraska volleyball is playing a spring season. 

Tickets to state basketball will be good for one game only, although reportedly the NSAA is considering selling an all-day pass.
