Humphrey St. Francis demolished Pleasanton 70-16 in yesterday’s Class D2 state football championship game.

In cruising to their fifth state football championship in school history, the Flyers’ 70 points were the most-ever scored in an eight-man state title game and just three points shy of the all-class record.

Senior quarterback Trevor Pfeiffer rushed eight times for 100 yards and three touchdowns and threw for 78 yards and three more scores, as St. Francis finished 2019 with a perfect 13-0 mark.
