St. Francis’ Boys Golf Team, One Jaguar Going to State

Humphrey St. Francis qualified as a team for the Class D boys state golf tournament yesterday. 

The Flyers earned second place in the D-2 district tourney after shooting a 368 at Twin Creek Golf Course.  Jaden Kosch led St. Francis with an 82 to finish fourth on the individual leaderboard. 

Howells-Dodge narrowly missed a trip to state as a team by placing fourth after carding a 379, six shots behind Hartington-Newcastle.  The Jaguars Kellen Fiala made the cut individually by shooting an 87 and taking eighth. 

Fullerton finished in the middle of the team standings at 396.
