It’s official Nebraska football’s season opener against Illinois has been moved from Ireland to Champaign, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

And there were a couple signs yesterday that winter will not last forever. 

Nebraska baseball released a 44-game, conference-only schedule.  The Huskers open the season on March 5th and will play four games against Purdue through the 7th at Round Rock, Texas.  NU’s home opener is March 26th against Minnesota. 

And Creighton’s baseball team is picked by Big East coaches to finish second to UConn this season.  However, no Bluejays were selected to the preseason All-Big East team.
