Spielman Will Miss Spring Practice With Health Issue

Nebraska receiver JD Spielman has gone home to Minnesota to deal with an unspecified health matter.  He’ll probably miss all of spring practice, which begins in a week.

Coach Scott Frost stressed the focus is on Spielman’s well-being and providing him with support.  Frost anticipates Spielman back for summer conditioning.

Spielman led the Huskers with 49 catches for 898 yards and five touchdowns last season.
