Spielman Tweet Confirms He’ll Play for TCU

Former Nebraska receiver JD Spielman confirmed on social media yesterday what had been reported over the weekend: the Husker transfer will play for TCU. 

Spielman said on Twitter that he battled “depression and anxiety,” last season.  He had taken a leave of absence from NU for a personal health matter in March before entering the transfer portal in June. 

In his post, Spielman thanked his true brothers, his family and Nebraska fans for their support.
