SOS, PWG Both Stay Alive in Class C Seniors State Tourney

In the Class C American Legion Seniors state tournament at Palmer, Shelby-Osceola-Stromsburg shaded Pender 6-5 in an elimination game on Monday night.
SOS is 2-1 in the tourney and battles 3-0 DCB in tonight’s 8 p.m. semifinal.
Host Palmer-Wolbach-Greeley stayed alive with a 3-1 victory over Tecumseh. PWG will take on Louisville/Weeping Water in a battle of 2-1 teams at 5 p.m. today.
