Sooners Make CWS Finals, Razorbacks Stay Alive
Oklahoma is heading to the College World Series finals, while Arkansas stayed alive with a win last night.
David Sandlin pitched the Sooners to a 5-1 victory that eliminated Texas A&M. Sandlin held the Aggies to one run and struck out a career-high 12 in seven innings.
In the night game, the Razorbacks held on for a 3-2 win over Ole Miss. Trailing 3-1 entering the bottom of the ninth, the Rebels loaded the bases with no outs but only scored one run.
The Hogs forced a second bracket final against Ole Miss today at 3 p.m. The winner advances to the best-of-three final series that begins Saturday.
OU will be trying to complete a baseball-softball national title sweep.
